Comprehensive advice
At the beginning of a new project, many questions arise: how does the product convince potential customers (added value, USP, pricing model)? What monetisation possibilities are there? How do you design an appealing user interface for the users (UX)? Which technologies should be used? Are there important (de-facto) standards or interfaces to third-party systems that need to be supported? What are the advantages and disadvantages of certain implementation variants and how do these affect the costs? Which competing products already exist on the market?
We advise you holistically, taking into account your business model and the needs of your company and your customers. We take an open-minded approach and avoid specifying implementation details and technologies too early. First, we conduct a thorough requirements analysis (user stories, business model canvas, requirement engineering). This works best in a joint workshop on site. Then we work out two to three implementation concepts and compare them. We explain the advantages and disadvantages as well as the approximate costs. We discuss this result with you and address any additional questions you may have.
This procedure is the classic preliminary project as it is known from the architecture or construction industry. The results can be further used by you – regardless of which service provider you commission with the implementation in the end.
UX & UI Design
Visualising the project idea makes it tangible for all involved. A graphical user interface concept helps to grasp the purpose and functionality of the application right away as well as to convince decision-makers.
However, the user interface should not only be graphically appealing, but also offer a great user experience. This is why our certified user experience experts come into play here (CPUX-F).
In the design, we distinguish between simple “low-fidelity prototypes” for the exchange of ideas and “high-fidelity prototypes” which are already very authentic and interactive – and make tangible the user experience of the solution to be developed.

For certain projects, the question of technical feasibility is a big issue. Especially when building on existing solutions or standards, small technical details can determine the success of the project. With a technical proof of concept (PoC), the project risk can be reduced at an early stage.
